Tessa has been tattooing for 7 years and works mainly in between Progression Tattoo in Adelaide and her hometown Paraparaumu, NZ.
Tessa has always had a keen interest in painting and attended Art school in Wellington on a scholarship from high school. Portraits were her focus and oil paints a favourite medium to explore. After years of wanting to pursue tattooing, Tessa landed an apprenticeship under Vaughan Morris in NZ.
Shortly after finishing Tess lived and worked in Melbourne for a year before joining the Progression Tattoo family in Adelaide.
Black and grey tattooing has dominated Tessa's portfolio for some years now and she never tires of striving for more detail in her work. With a love of conventions and travel, outside of Adelaide, you are probable to find her tattooing in other parts of Australia and NZ quite often.
